Staff Implicated In Actor Ahn Bo Hyun’s Controversy Steps Forward To Explain Viral Clip
The staff involved in Ahn Bo Hyun‘s controversy has stepped forward.
Previously, Ahn Bo Hyun was criticized for allegedly making a staff member hold his script for him. The controversy stems from a 2021 behind-the-scenes clip of Yumi’s Cell.
In the clip, the actor can be seen looking at a script in the background. What netizens noticed, however, was that a staff member seemed to be holding the script for the actor.
The clip has since resurfaced amid the news that the actor was dating BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo and has brought on a fresh wave of criticism. As the controversy has grown, SPOTV News spoke with the staff member, who turned out to have been the actor’s stylist at the time, to find out the truth behind the clip.
According to the former stylist, the clip has been blown way out of proportion, and she insisted that no such “abuse” had taken place.
I am disappointed and frustrated over claims that I had been abused and that his personality was horrible. Although my face is blurred, I am disappointed and scared every time my photo is published. I am speaking up because I think Ahn Bo Hyun is going through a hard time.

The former stylist then revealed what had really happened.
At the time, there was an abrupt change in the schedule during rehearsals. I was showing Ahn Bo Hyun the scenes in the script that would be affected by the schedule change. I was looking at my phone because I was checking the times that were messaged to me.

The stylist lastly vouched for the actor’s kind personality. Despite no longer working together, the actor’s former stylist defended the actor and asked that netizens stop criticizing the actor.
As someone who had worked with the actor for a long time, Ahn Bo Hyun is a really good person. Even in tough situations, he discusses with the staff how best to resolve them. I am really disappointed when I see people write hateful comments after watching a short clip.
