Ailee Begs The Media To Stop Blowing Her Prank Out Of Proportion
Singer, Ailee took to her Instagram to clear up a misunderstanding that was caused by a harmless prank she pulled on her fans.
On her Instagram story, Ailee addressed the news of her upcoming concerts going viral online.
I got a call saying that my concert news is going viral, so I rubbed my eyes and came here to see. I can’t believe my concert footage photo went viral! Aside from the dress that’ll appear in the video, please look forward to the concert as well!
— Ailee
And in the following message, she addressed the media, pleading that they stop blowing the prank out of proportion.
But reporters… People who don’t read my full post will actually think I’m getting married… Please change your headlines… I might not be getting married now… but I want to get married one day… Save me…
— Ailee
Ahead of this incident, Ailee posted a photo of herself wearing a wedding dress and hinted at surprising news.
She tricked fans into believing she had a marriage announcement only to reveal that it was for concert footage further down the post.
But media outlets reported on her prank as if she was really getting married, and it got so out of hand that Ailee addressed it herself.
Ailee isn’t actually getting married, everyone!
But she wishes to one day!
