AKMU‘s Lee Chanhyuk and fromis_9‘s Lee Saerom have been rumored to be dating by netizens, and YG Entertainment has responded to such rumors.
Netizens have suspected that Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Saerom have been dating for around one year after noticing the two visiting similar locations on the same day and sporting couple of items. In one instance, both Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Saerom posted themselves visiting the same gallery on the same day, October 17, 2021.
Another piece of “evidence” that netizens believe they found was a connection between Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Saerom’s in-ear headsets, which tied into their activities. In the past, Lee Chanhyuk released a novel titled “Fish in the Water.”
This was also the inspiration for his in-ear headset, which showcases a fish design.
When Lee Saerom got her in-ear headset, her design showed a couple on the left earpiece.
The connection between all of this is that fromis_9’s track “Fish” was co-written by Lee Saerom. Some netizens are pointing out this connection also to mean they are dating.
The two were also rumored to be wearing similar couple rings.
Both Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Saerom are interested in painting, with a netizen pointing out that the two have similar painted phone cases.
In addition, it was noticed that Lee Chanhyuk’s painting of a set of flowers looked similar to a group of flowers received by fromis_9.
In the end, YG Entertainment released a short statement, saying that they would not comment further on the rumors as it is their artists’ private life.
It is difficult to confirm as it is the artists’ private life.
