Another Fan Steps Up To Accuse Staff Of Stealing Their Seat To IU’s “H.E.R” Concert In Seoul

Did the company steal seats from fans?

EDAM Entertainment recently got into hot soup when fans accused the staff of stealing seats that had been originally bought by fans. A fan stepped up, upset that they had been denied entry to the concert even when they had proved that they were the ones who had bought the tickets. Staff denied entry to them despite the fact that they proved that they had made the reservations themselves. Only their close friend had aided with the cash deposit payment for the ticket. They even proved their membership as an official UAENA. The seat which was meant to be theirs was later seen to have been taken by someone else, causing accusations that a staff had stolen the seat.

Another fan stepped up with a similar accusation. In their case, they faced no issues with identifying themselves as the owners of the ticket. When they went to collect their physical ticket at the reservation booth on site, a staff had told them that someone else had taken the ticket under their name. Another staff quickly stepped in and asked them to proceed to the company booth for further queries and investigation.

On March 3, at 4.40pm. I went to the reservation booths sorted by one’s initials. I showed them my reservation page on Melon Ticket, and my ID card.

Staff 1: Huh? Someone took the tickets for [name] earlier.

(Moment of silence)

Staff 2: Please go to the company’s booth.

The fan also posted a conversation they had with their friend about the matter.

  • Friend: So you’re saying that at first they didn’t say anything, then when you asked who took your tickets, they suddenly switched up?
  • Fan: Looking at the [collection text message], I was a part of the fanclub presales. Seeing as I’m an official UAENA 6th round member, there are separate booths for us sorted by our initials. So because my name is [redacted], I went to the 11th booth. I showed them my ID card and reservation, and they searched for my ticket for a long time before saying “Huh? Someone else took it earlier though?” Then someone who looked like a higher-up, not the other staff that’s next to them, kind of gave them a look before telling me to hang on. After searching a little bit, they told me to go to the company’s booth next door. Is it because I had to verify myself or something?
  • Friend: Hey, then it’s 100% for sure that they stole the seats themselves.

The matter is quickly becoming a huge one amongst fans, as more than one instance have been cropping up.
