Arboretum Visited By BLACKPINK’s Jennie Shuts Down Accusations That She Violated Social Distancing Measures

Jennie has been cleared of all suspicions.

BLACKPINK‘s Jennie recently uploaded various photos of herself at an arboretum in Paju, but due to a photo containing people holding ice cream, she was faced with the suspicion that she violated social distancing rules by participating in a personal gathering of 5 people or more.

The particular photo showed exactly 7 hands holding ice cream, which quickly sparked controversy.

And when Jennie took down that photo and replaced it with a photo of just her hands holding ice cream, it only added fuel to the accusations.

But the arboretum soon spoke up to shut down the suspicion.

The arboretum took to their official blog page to clarify that Jennie was only there for business matters.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie visited for work. She must’ve taken the photos after wrapping up the job.

According to the social distancing measures in Korea, Jennie didn’t commit any violations if she was simply there for work purposes.
