ARMY Share Songs On Twitter For BTS’s Jimin

Fans hope Jimin will listen to one album in particular.

On January 31 (KST), BIGHIT MUSIC announced on Weverse that BTS‘s Jimin had tested positive for COVID-19. Additionally, he had undergone successful surgery for acute appendicitis.

Hello.

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We would like to provide you with the following information regarding the current health status of BTS member Jimin.

Jimin experienced sudden abdominal pain along with a mild sore throat on January 30 in the afternoon. He visited a hospital emergency room for thorough examination, and also took a PCR test. Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and was tested positive for COVID-19. He underwent surgery following physician advice early morning on Monday, January 31.

According to the medical staff, the surgery was successful and Jimin is currently recuperating after his procedure. He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for COVID-19 in conjunction with postoperative care. He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat but is making a speedy recovery, and had no contact with the other members during the infectious stage.

The company places the artists’ health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Jimin in his speedy recovery. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the health care authorities.

Thank you.

Fortunately, the idol seems to be recovering well, updating concerned fans on Weverse about his condition, saying that he is doing well and will be home soon.

But of course, the idol has everyone wishing him a speedy recovery, even including the cat that filmed his “Serendipity” music video with him.

And fans have also continually sent their support to the idol, constantly trending hashtags on Twitter so Jimin can see their support for his speedy recovery.

One fan page, in particular, created a series of hashtags to trend each day, so ARMYs could have a collective effort to send support and comfort to Jimin.

On the first day of this project, fans took to Twitter to upload pictures of their meals since the kindhearted idol is always checking in with them to make sure they’ve eaten.

They also made donations in Jimin’s name to the non-profit SOS Children’s Villages (also referred to as Save Our Soul) to provide meals for children in need.

The next day was a hashtag where fans shared some of their favorite movies, which served as a bunch of recommendations for Jimin and fans alike.

In a similar fashion, today, fans have come to Twitter to share song recommendations with the idol.

They are sharing a mix of styles of music that give them comfort and strength.

As well as songs that remind them of the idol.

Which includes songs from musical soundtracks.

And even some of Jimin’s own beautiful songs like “Serendipity” and “Promise.”

Fans have even made creative edits of their song recommendations, giving fans a reason to smile as they look at lovely clips of Jimin edited to beautiful songs.

But one album, in particular, seems to be getting a lot of recognition, and fans are very hopeful Jimin will listen.

Spotify user LFJV Heaven created an album, H^^py, for Jimin’s birthday in 2021. The album features five songs, all inspired by and intended for Jimin.

The album is gorgeous and is an incredibly meaningful project that fans agree expresses their love and gratitude for the idol.

Fans are hoping that the trending hashtag might help Jimin listen to this album, if he hasn’t already, and receive comfort in seeing how much his fans care about him.

Through his fans’ constant outcry of support, there is no way that Jimin isn’t touched and feeling loved and supported.

What song would you share with Jimin?
