ARMYs Donate To Fight The Coronavirus Pandemic In Honor Of V’s “Sweet Night”
BTS‘s ARMYs have been generous in donating to the fight against COVID-19, and just recently, they’ve made yet another large donation to the cause.
This time, they have a particular motivation for it – BTS member V, and more specifically, his OST song, “Sweet Night”, created for the drama Itaewon Class.
BTS’s U.S. fan club posted on Twitter about their donation. “In honor of BTS V’s new song, ‘Sweet Night’, V USA decided to donate to coronavirus relief efforts. We wish everyone a sweet night and fast recovery.” They included the hashtag #WishYouASweetNight with the post.
The two charities that they donated to are The National Domestic Workers Alliance, who is “working to slow the spread of the virus by providing emergency assistance for domestic workers that enables them to stay home and healthy,” and Americares, whose aim is to “save lives and improve health for people affected by poverty or disaster so they can reach their full potential.”
V’s global fanbase has also donated to the United Nations Foundation, who is supporting the World Health Organization (WHO) in their search for a cure for the coronavirus.
BTS’s fans really are incredibly selfless. Check out these tweets from ARMYs about the donations:
