ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo continues to face fallout over his ongoing tax evasion allegations.

According to reports on January 26, KST, fashion brand Marithé François Girbaud has removed all content featuring Eunwoo from its social media platforms. The brand had appointed Eunwoo as a model in May last year. Their campaign featuring him and actress Go Youn Jung had sparked quite the buzz at that time.
Reports stated that Marithé François Girbaud turned all its videos and posts featuring Eunwoo to private mode across all platforms late in the afternoon of January 26. Until that afternoon, viewers could access the content. While the brand has not offered any official explanation, many have interpreted the move as them quietly cutting ties with him.
Notably, the fashion brand had previously told media outlets that it had no plans to remove Eunwoo from its social media accounts. However, in less than five hours after that statement, all promotional content related to the idol was made private.
If the hints are correct, Marithé François Girbaud would be the second brand to drop Cha Eunwoo amid his ongoing scandal, following the skincare brand Adiba. Meanwhile, his agency, Fantagio, recently issued a new statement regarding the idol’s situation.
