Their friendship is truly special.

Known as the “Darlingz” dynamic duo, the two idols have been friends since their predebut days. From leaving cutesy comments on each other’s live streams to their “flirting,” Wooyoung and Yeonjun are endlessly lovable.

But their friendship goes even deeper. Wooyoung was recently featured in the WATCHA documentary Fill In The Blank, which gives fans an unfiltered look at who he is as an artist and person. And Yeonjun was a rather important part of his journey to becoming an idol.

According to Wooyoung, Yeonjun was one of his biggest sources of support when he was a trainee.

Having gone through many hardships together, they promised to one day perform onstage with each other—a dream that came true at the 2021 MAMAs.

Their collaboration on that stage was such a momentous occasion for the two friends that, according to Wooyoung, it almost made him cry. And the message Yeonjun left for him was no less touching for fans!

These two have a truly special friendship, one which only seems to be growing stronger. Seeing as Wooyoung’s bestie in ATEEZ, San, also knew Yeonjun before their debut, it’s hard not to think that they were meant to be!
