BLACKPINK‘s Jennie recently released her track “like JENNIE.”
It has become a hit for idols who have taken on the challenge.
Yet, one idol’s challenge that wouldn’t have seen the light of day if it wasn’t for an interaction with a fan is BABYMONSTER‘s Ahyeon.
Even before their debut, Ahyeon gained a lot of attention for her resemblance to Jennie, and she wasn’t afraid of showing her respect and love to her senior. If many fans were surprised she didn’t do the “like JENNIE” challenge, it turns out she had, and it just wasn’t posted.
On April 9, Ahyeon had an adorable interaction with a fan. She showed a video on her phone of her doing the “like JENNIE” dance challenge, putting her fingers to her lips, showing it was a secret.

It angered netizens because they believed YG Entertainment was stopping Ahyeon from posting the video and that it showcased their real attitude towards Jennie and the freedom of BABYMONSTER.
