On February 3, media outlets reported that Barbie Hsu passed away while traveling in Japan during the Lunar Holiday. The cause of death was confirmed to be acute pneumonia.
In a phone call with Ilgan Sports, DJ Koo stated, “I am not okay,” as he struggled to hold in his pain.
With the sudden news, some even raised the possibility that it was fake. Koo responded, “It is not fake news.”
