Beloved Actress Momentarily Loses Vision While Filming Popular SBS Show

Recently, it was revealed that a popular actress had to be rushed to the hospital while filming SBS‘s outdoor variety show, Jungle Bob 2.

The incident was captured and shown during the show’s latest episode, which aired on May 1, KST. The actress in question was Kim Ok Bin.

During the episode, Kim participated in a deep-sea dive, going down to 20 meters to catch seafood. When she came up, she complained that she couldn’t see very well and expressed discomfort.

After the dive, when the whole cast was traveling in a car, Kim was still wiping her eyes constantly, struggling with irritation. As her co-star tried to understand her condition better, she started tearing up and expressing severe pain. Kim guessed that the defogging solution she used on her diving mask might have irritated her eyes.

When fellow cast members insisted she get medical attention, she was promptly taken to a local hospital. The medical staff later informed that she had gotten something in her eye and was receiving treatment.

After finishing her treatment, Kim reassured the production team that her eyes were okay after rinsing and medication. She added that since the injury was on the cornea, she was expected to get better in a couple of days.

While the incident showcased Kim Ok Bin’s great professionalism, it has also sparked discussions about the real-life risks of outdoor variety shows.
