Beloved Actress Shares Her Trick To Throw Off Dispatch Reporters While Dating In Secret

Actress Lee Min Jung recently shared how she and her husband, actor Lee Byung Hun, avoided reporters from Dispatch while they were dating in secret.

In the most recent episode of KBS2‘s Heart on Wheels, Lee Min Jung shared stories about her early romance days with Lee Byung Hun with fellow cast members, highlighting the lengths they went to to keep their relationship away from the media.

Lee recalled that the reporters were so desperate to click a photo of the couple together that they would quite literally camp in front of their houses every day. “I started seeing cars with the same license plate number in front of my house and my husband Lee Byung Hun’s house,” she explained, adding that they would keep following their cars, not even trying to be discreet. “If I were going straight and suddenly took a right turn, the paparazzi would also make a right turn,” she recalled.

To thwart such diligent paparazzi reporters, Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun devised a plan to meet secretly at a common friend’s house. He would go to a friend’s place, borrow their car, and then pick her up in that car.

Lee Min Jung said she felt bad for the reporters, too, who would have to spend hours waiting just for a photo. But in the end, their stake-outs worked, and despite their best efforts, the couple was caught.

Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun tied the knot in 2013, and now they are the proud parents of two children, a son and a daughter.
