Beloved Group Left “Homeless” During Company Crisis And Disbandment Concerns

Fans are worried about their future.

Recently, the legal issues surrounding ONE HUNDRED LABEL have taken more turns.

In January, it was alleged that EXO-CBX, Taemin, and THE BOYZ were collectively owed over ₩5.00 billion KRW (about $3.39 million USD) in unpaid settlements from ONE HUNDRED. Additionally, nine members of THE BOYZ were granted an injunction suspending their contracts with the label, shortly followed by EXO-CBX filing to terminate its own contracts.

While many have focused on the better-known groups, others are concerned about a group under the label with less than 2 years of activity.

In June 2024, girl group BADVILLAIN debuted with “BADVILLAIN,” the first developed entirely under the company.

BADVILLAIN returned on September 25, 2025, with a single album featuring the track “Thriller.”  Since then, the group has not released new music, and their social media accounts appear to have gone silent, as evidenced by the lack of an update for Emma’s birthday on April 26. The below tweet made on April 12 is the most recent from the group.

Additionally, with the ONE HUNDRED building reportedly up for leasing due to a lack of rent payments, BADVILLAIN, who were living in dorms, are believed to be “homeless” and living with their families again.

This, combined with members’ previous messages about a break and the company’s current state, has many in the group concerned about the group’s future.
