The hilarious posts drew more people to follow his account, who left screenshots in the comments showing them joining his follower club.

Previously, Kwon mostly shared updates through his wife’s social media account. His own social media account was made very recently, where he now communicates with fans directly.

Despite a flourishing career, Kwon had to withdraw from entertainment around 2020 to take care of his son, who suffers from a rare disease. The actor explained that his son needed assistance with many tasks, and he also accompanied him to the hospital frequently. Apart from that, Kwon also took care of household work and other chores, which kept him busy all these years. However, he announced that he was ready to return to work and was studying current trends for that purpose.

The actor also opened up about the difficulties his family had to face while he was away from work, which was amplified by the COVID pandemic. He eventually quit drinking and cut off certain friends to throw himself fully into his family responsibilities. Married in 1996, the actor has one son who has a rare development disorder with only 15 known cases worldwide, with him being the only one in South Korea.

Despite his complicated personal life, the actor is making strides to return to the entertainment industry. He recently participated as a voice actor in the film King of Kings, which premiered last month.
