BIGBANG’s G-Dragon Catches Attention For Liking aespa Karina’s Instagram Post

It’s not the first time his likes have gotten attention.

A few days ago, aespa‘s Karina posted a series of photos of herself wearing a cheeky shirt with the phrase “send nudes”, which greatly amused her fans. It was her first post on Instagram since it was announced that she had broken up with actor Lee Jae Wook, and fans were glad to see that she seemed to be doing well despite that.

The post, however, seems to have also caught the attention of another K-Pop idol who has stirred up some issues in the past with the posts he publicly likes on the social media platform: BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon.

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that he had liked the post from his public official account, sparking a conversation among them for what it could mean, or the consequences that could come from what seems to be a harmless act.

In the past, posts by female K-Pop idols that G-Dragon has liked with his public account have created trouble for the female idol in question. For example, about a decade ago, his likes on f(x) member Krystal‘s Instagram posts created such a huge dating controversy and bullying against her that she had to temporarily delete her account.

More recently, a similar dating rumor was sparked when he liked the posts of IVE‘s Wonyoung, which was more scandalous due to their large age gap. Fortunately, those rumors were quickly verified to be false.

With his history of creating dating scandals through his public likes on Instagram, netizens wonder why G-Dragon doesn’t take these issues into consideration and make a private account to like posts instead.

On a forum post about his liking Karina’s post, people shared some rather scathing remarks towards G-Dragon and his actions.

Do you think this is an issue, or being blown out of proportion?
