T.O.P Reveals Why He Specifically Chose Nana For His Highly-Anticipated Comeback Music Video

Former BIGBANG member-turned-soloist T.O.P revealed the decisive reason why he cast After School and Orange Caramel‘s Nana in his new music video. In a video released on April 28, 2026 (KST) via his YouTube channel, Nana asked him directly, “I’m curious, why me?”

T.O.P responded candidly, saying, “Honestly, ever since I first came up with the idea for ‘Studio54,’ I imagined an unknown, mysterious female character, someone whose era you can’t quite place.”

I wanted a kind of charm where you couldn’t tell whether she was from space or the past. She needed to have classical beauty, but at the same time—just like the song title—if a woman who looked truly, completely crazy appeared, I thought it would be incredibly captivating. And in my opinion, she fits that image the best.
