BIGBANG‘s Daesung revealed his thoughts after leaving YG Entertainment in a handwritten letter.

On January 2, Daesung revealed the letter on his YouTube channel. In the letter, Daesung thanked the label and revealed he was excited to begin the next chapter in his career. The contents of the letter can be read below.

Thank you for taking care of me for so long and for helping me grow. I sincerely thank you. And as I keep these feelings close to my heart, I am leaving to begin a new adventure. Although it is scary, I believe there is meaning in taking these new steps. In 2023, I plan on taking these steps into an uncertain future with confidence and will faithfully continue on this path. Despite my shortcomings, I ask that you support my next steps. Thank you, and I wish you a happy new year.

Earlier, Daesung announced he would be leaving YG Entertainment. Taeyang and TOP have also left the label leaving G-Dragon as the sole BIGBANG member in YG Entertainment.
