“Bisexual?” — 5th Gen K-Pop Idol Admits To Liking Men And Women
While many idols have opened up about being members of the LGBTQIA+ community, it remains a rare occurrence that still garners attention when it happens.
Recently, a former K-Pop idol’s admission seemingly revealed that he is interested in men.
In 2023, the survival show Boys Planet aired, showing the selection process for ZEROBASEONE. While a limited number of trainees made the final group, many had such popularity that several spin-off groups were formed, including TOZ.

TOZ included Anthonny, Haruto (Hart), Yuto, and Takuto, and after releasing their debut, went into a period of inactivity before disbanding.
Member Haruto, who was very popular with international audiences, has recently announced he will lead dance classes in the upcoming year, in addition to resuming posts on his social media accounts.

Recently, the former idol surprised many when he appeared on internet personality Kole’s @tokyo_sims page for an impromptu interview. During the interview, Kole asked Haruto what his type was and Haruto responded that “anything was okay.”
Kole asks, “Guys, too?” and Haruto responds in the affirmative, with the rest of the video being a joke(?) about him having feelings for his friend.
@tokyo_sims We all have our secrets
Rather than surprise over his admission of also liking men, many were more surprised to see Haruto in general.

It is worth mentioning that Kole’s videos sometimes are staged but it is not clear if this one is.
