BLACKPINK Will Debut 2022 VMA Performance With Comeback Single “Pink Venom”

They are nominated in two categories too!

BLACKPINK confirmed that they would be performing at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). The announcement was made through BLACKPINK’s and the VMA’s Twitter accounts.

This will be BLACKPINK’s first performance at the VMAs, and what makes it more exciting is that they will be performing their comeback single “Pink Venom” there live for the first time.

Teasers for the “Pink Venom” MV have already been released, and BLINKs are understandably excited for their comeback. The latest teaser gives a glimpse of another visually arresting MV, a signature of BLACKPINK MVs.

BLACKPINK joins the likes of J Balvin, Anitta, Marshmello x Khalid, Panic! at the Disco, Lizzo, Jack Harlow, and Maneskin, who have likewise been confirmed to perform at the VMAs.

The group was the first K-Pop girl group to win a VMA for the “Song of the Summer” category in 2020 with their hit song “How You Like That.”
