Each country has different rules and ways to show respect, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie has gained praise for her behavior when visiting a place of worship while on their world tour.

BLACKPINK recently traveled to Abu Dhabi to perform as part of their BORN PINK world tour. As expected, the members wowed netizens with their performances, and BLINKs who attended made sure to share photos and videos from the concert on social media.

During their time in Abu Dhabi, it seemed like the members had some free time, including Jennie.

On social media, a clip of Jennie has gained over 300,000 views and has earned the idol a lot of praise. In the clip, Jennie was seen at the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, looking at the beautiful architecture and surroundings.

Yet, as the video zoomed in, netizens noticed that Jennie was wearing a scarf to cover her hair.

When the video was shared, Jennie received a lot of praise from netizens because she was following the rules and customs of visiting a mosque by wearing a hijab to respect the culture. BLINKs also defended Jennie from any comments, explaining that the idol wore the hijab to respect the Islamic culture.

Yet, it isn’t the first time BLACKPINK has gained attention for their respectful behavior when in another country.

Earlier in the month, BLACKPINK performed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the members gained attention for adapting their outfits to be more modest to respect the country’s rules.
