BLACKPINK‘s Jennie recently filmed a promotional video for TAMBURINS. While BLINKs were expecting a standard promotional ad, they were shocked to see the video, which was essentially a short action film. Jennie’s acting in the video was phenomenal, only creating more excitement around her acting debut in the HBO series The Idol.
As a further reason to praise Jennie for her immense efforts, a recent behind-the-scenes video of her filming proves just how diligently the idol worked to prepare for the commercial. First, the idol learned choreography for the action scenes from PROWDMON‘s Monika, who even praised Jennie for her personality.
And rather than just simply learning the assigned choreography, Jennie even offered her own suggestions, which were taken seriously by the staff.
I think it would look too obvious to pause at this point when it gets louder.
Of course, Jennie was a natural for the modeling part of her work with TAMBURINS, striking various elegant poses that showed off her visuals.
The idol also showed off her innate acting ability, flawlessly executing the action choreography.
And even pulled off exciting and intense stunts.
Despite working long hours, Jennie also proved her incredible professionalism by never lacking enthusiasm during the shoot.
It has been about seven hours since we started at 15:00, and I think we are halfway done… One third? Oh yeah, it’s a third [of the] way done. I wonder how to deal with the action scenes later…
The idol even showed off her appreciation for her staff by painting their nails in her own unique style between scenes.
Given Jennie’s immense talent and professionalism, fans can be excited about what she’ll keep astonishing them with.
