While BLACKPINK Jisoo’s legal representatives have issued an official statement regarding the controversy surrounding her older brother, netizens remain skeptical.
On April 20, the legal representative for her agency BLISSOO stated that the matters currently being raised are completely unrelated to the artist.

However, netizens raised questions about the content of the statement, due to the fact that the production credits for Jisoo’s recent Netflix series, Boyfriend on Demand, listed her brother as “Management representative Kim Jung Hoon.”
Many demanded clarification on why his name was on the credits list, as they stated they had not been in contact.
On the other hand, others felt this went too far, stating that the victim had also revealed the family was unrelated to the matter and that Jisoo had cut ties with him.
Netizens defended Jisoo, agreeing that she didn’t do anything wrong.
