In an article from July that has resurfaced, it seems that Cartier truly went to extreme lengths to ensure the idol represented them. In the piece from Madame Le Figaro, it explains that Cartier actually doubled the contract fee of Dior to ensure Jisoo would represent the jewelry brand.
