BLACKPINK’s Lisa Faces Accusations Of Duping Fans With Her Limited Edition Albums
BLACKPINK‘s Lisa has gotten embroiled in yet another controversy regarding her recently released album, Alter Ego.
The latest wave of criticism against Lisa’s album stems from multiple buyers’ suspicions that Lisa or her team tried to cut corners with a specific version of the physical album, i.e., the signed vinyl and CDs.
Many fans who have purchased the autographed albums have now taken to social media, questioning whether the signatures on the albums are authentic. While most purchased it with the expectation of the album being hand-signed, it appears that the signatures were possibly done using autopen.

An autopen is a device that mechanically reproduces a person’s signature, perfectly replicating human handwriting. Many fans have noticed that though Lisa’s signature across different batches of the album has some differences, units sold in the same store or area have signatures that are too perfectly identical to be signed by a human being.

Needlessly to say, the fans who purchased the signed version are dissatisfied with this possibility, given that these albums were sold at a much higher price than the normal ones. While many have defended Lisa, speculating that the decision could be the fault of the production and management team, others have argued that since this release was managed by Lisa’s independent label, LLOUD, she should bear responsibility as the CEO.
LLOUD is yet to respond to these accusations.
