BLACKPINK Lisa’s Thailand Tourism Campaign Faces Backlash
BLACKPINK member Lisa‘s new Thailand tourism campaign has sparked unexpected criticism.

Recently, the Tourism Authority of Thailand unveiled a new promotional campaign featuring Lisa as the international ambassador. The campaign, titled “Feel All the Feelings,” was initially hailed as a high-profile marketing strategy.

However, as more photos from the campaign were released, criticism began to surface about the poor picture quality. Netizens particularly noted that Lisa appeared poorly blended into the background. The over-smoothened visuals also sparked speculation that the photos had been created with AI-generated visual elements or relied on heavy digital composition rather than on-site photography.

The reactions intensified after Thai music producer Nitipong Honark criticized the campaign, saying that the content’s quality was so bad, it was equivalent to taking a previous gemstone worth hundreds of billions and presenting it as cheap junk.

Despite the criticism, the campaign has been praised for its success in attracting global attention to Thailand’s lesser-known destinations.
