BLACKPINK Lisa’s Unexpected Whereabouts Slammed With Extreme Criticism
BLACKPINK‘s Lisa is facing heated criticism following her latest social media update.

The global pop star recently traveled to Japan after wrapping up the group’s DEADLINE tour and promoting their latest mini album of the same name.
During the trip, Lisa appeared to visit Punch the Monkey, a baby macaque that recently went viral online.

Punch became an internet sensation earlier this year after videos showed the young monkey clinging to a large stuffed orangutan toy given to him by zookeepers for comfort after being abandoned by his mother.

During her visit, Lisa held up a similar toy to attract the money’s attention. While some fans found Lisa’s update cute and harmless, many criticized the visit.

Netizens argued that being aware of the viral monkey suggests she has an active online presence, which they claim has not been used to speak about major humanitarian issues such as the ongoing genocide and humanitarian crisis in Palestine.
See they are all chronically online when it comes to that dvmb monkey but when it’s about kids dying https://t.co/wJmDqW4HxI

Posts criticizing the idol quickly spread across X, gaining thousands of likes and retweets.

People losing it for a monkey but refuse to saw a word for a human child getting torn to pieces. What a shitty world we live in

However, Lisa has also received strong support from fans who argue that visiting a zoo should not be turned into a political controversy.
