BLACKPINK Make History With Their “BORN PINK” Tour Becoming The Highest-Grossing Tour Ever By A Girl Group
Recently, Touring Data shared the impressive total sales numbers made by the first 26 shows of BLACKPINK‘s BORN PINK world tour.
According to their data, the K-Pop girl group has now had the highest-grossing tour by any female musical group in history, surpassing even the Spice Girls, TLC, and Destiny’s Child! With these 26 shows, BLACKPINK made a total of $78.4 million USD.
What’s even more impressive is that this isn’t even half of the total stops of BLACKPINK’s tour. In fact, they have 19 more concert stops that haven’t even happened yet — including stadium performances at huge venues such as MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Oracle Park in San Francisco, and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles — and there are nearly 20 already-performed shows that haven’t been included in the data yet!
With these additional tour dates added on to their total profit made from the BORN PINK tour, it’s hard to say just how much higher that number will go, but it’s bound to be massive.
Additionally, BLACKPINK also impressed with completely sold-out concerts in several different cities, with nearly all the venues having a capacity of 20,000+ people!
BLACKPINK is certainly making history for K-Pop girl groups, and seeing these huge audiences really puts into perspective just how impressive these accomplishments are.
This data was shared on an online forum, where BLINKs are celebrating such an impressive achievement!
We wish BLACKPINK a safe and enjoyable time for the rest of their history-making BORN PINK world tour!
