BLACKPINK Shares Just How Close The Members Are In A Touching Statement About Growth And Change
The girls of BLACKPINK just came back with their hot new album, THE ALBUM. Needless to say, they are breaking records left and right again, with their music video for “Lovesick Girls” already surpassing 20 million views, within just 3 hours of release.
In an online press conference on the day of the album drop, the girls shared their thoughts on their music, success and of course, THE ALBUM. The new album itself consists of 8 tracks, all of varying genres. Rosé shared that their goal with this album was to show every single genre that BLACKPINK was capable of, including hiphop, pop, dance and R&B.
Jennie shared that the album consists of many different types of songs, in order to convey multiple messages. She revealed that life is not only about love, but has many other emotions. She feels that this album shows the growth from a young lady to a more mature woman.
Recalling their times as a trainee, Jennie shared that she was grateful to be able to spend both her teens and her twenties with the other members. Being able to stay by each others’ sides and watch over each other is an enjoyable blessing for her. The girls all unite as one, when they are discussing their performances or music.
Jisoo also made a touching statement, revealing that the four girls have no changed in how they felt and the way they move towards their goals. Rather, their environment and situations have been the one that is constantly changing.
