K-Pop Insiders Expect All 4 BLACKPINK Members To Renew Their Contracts With YG Entertainment

They aren’t going anywhere… we hope!

BLACKPINK‘s contracts with YG Entertainment end in August 2023, and K-Pop industry insiders believe that all four members will decide to stay with YG Entertainment.

According to an exclusive report from Star News, all four BLACKPINK members (Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa) are currently trending towards renewing their contracts with YG Entertainment once their contract expires in August 2023. Each of the four members is believed to want to maintain their current relationship with YG Entertainment, but no particular reason was stated. However, it is believed that the scale and reception of the group’s current world tour have greatly impacted their decision.

Currently, BLACKPINK is holding the largest world tour out of all K-Pop girl groups, which will visit 32 cities worldwide for a total of 57 shows. They will also headline Coachella in April and the Hyde Park Summer Festival in the United Kingdom in July.

YG Entertainment has not responded to Star News’ report.
