On May 23, fans held their breath after getting a rare notification from the BLACKPINK X account. They found it was a basic graphic showing the tour’s name, “DEADLINE.”

While it isn’t uncommon for popular idols to see some hate or criticism on posts, the BLACKPINK tweet was full of anger and frustration from fans about the announcement. Whether it was the “reused” graphics or the lack of effort put into the teaser, along with the continued anger about a lack of comeback, fans were not impressed.

The tour is set to start in Goyang in July.
