BLACKPINK‘s Rosé just dropped her first ever solo music video, “On The Ground”. The song is the title track off her solo album, R.

In a mere 24 hours since launch, the music video for “On The Ground” broke records globally for K-Pop female soloists. Upon release on March 12, 2021 at 2pm KST, the music video was the most viewed video on YouTube globally, for the entire day.

In just 24 hours, she made over 39,000,000 views. This is 5 times more than the 2nd and 3rd place on the list for most viewed K-Pop female soloist music videos in 24 hours.

Not only that, R has been receiving great reviews from both Billboard and MTV Australia. R has also surpassed 400,000 copies in pre-orders, a first for any K-Pop female soloist.
