BLACKPINK's Jennie Reportedly Purchases ₩5 Billion Won Luxury Apartment

BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has reportedly purchased a ₩5.00 billion KRW (about $3.79 million USD) luxury apartment at UN Village in cash.

According to an exclusive report from Biz Hankook, Jennie purchased a villa at the famed UN Village back in all cash without any bank loans. She has also reportedly registered her new address with the local municipal office.

Amidst the public attention on the status of her contract with YG Entertainment, Jennie purchased a unit at the LaTerrace villa complex located within UN Village back in July 2023. The apartment features five bedrooms and three bathrooms with a total living space of 244.97 square meters (2636 square feet). Notably, actor Lee Jong Suk owns an apartment in the same complex, even though he currently lives at Nine One Hannam.

Jennie reportedly began the process of purchasing the apartment back in February 2021, paying a 10 percent down-payment ₩500 million KRW (about $379,000 USD) for the place. Normally, the remaining amount is expected to be paid within six months, but Jennie was able to take longer to pay off the full amount.
