BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” Has Broken An Impressive Record Previously Held By BTS

BLACKPINK are unstoppable.

BLACKPINK look unstoppable as they continue to break record after record with their comeback music video, “Kill This Love”.

At 6:50pm KST on April 6th, “Kill This Love” reached 80 million views on YouTube. The music video was released at midnight on April 5th so it only took BLACKPINK 18 hours and 50 minutes to accomplish this.

As a result, BLACKPINK now holds the record for the fastest Korean group music video to reach 80 million views. The fastest girl group music video to reach 80 million views before “Kill This Love” was BLACKPINK’s own “DDU-DU DDU-DU” which achieved the feat in 6 days and 17 hours.

They have also beaten the overall fastest Korean group music video to reach 80 million views which was “IDOL” by BTS who accomplished this in 2 days and 23 hours. How many more records will BLACKPINK break?
