BLACKPINK’s Rosé Reveals She Is Currently Working On Her Solo

“I know that it’s taking a long time but please trust me.”

After liking cryptic messages on Instagram alluding to her unfair treatment, fans of BLACKPINK began suspecting that Rosé was being withheld solo activities by YG Entertainment.

Rosé has since put fans at ease during a recent Instagram Live, revealing that she is currently working on her solo promotion.

She says that she is always working on it.

And I know that a lot of you guys are very very curious about how much I have prepared with my solo…and I’m so happy that you guys are like that. I’m working on it all the time.

She also reveals, however, that there is no definite release date as she wants everything to be perfect first.

The question about when it is, I cannot say yet I think. I don’t know if you guys know me very well but…I want it to be perfect and I want it to be a certain way. I’m very strict on that stuff because it means a lot to me and I know you guys respect that about my personality. I know that it’s taking a long time but please trust me on that.

She expressed her excitement and desire for her solo to be perfect.

‘Perfect’ doesn’t mean just the song itself, it also means timing. There is a right time for everything.

Rosé further touched on her fan’s worry when she fails to update her social media accounts.

And know that when I become silent or when you guys can’t see me, you also know that those are like some times that I’m actually working on things for you guys. I know that it’s really frustrating when I don’t update you about my life.

BLINKs have responded with both joy and cynicism, with some pointing out that YG Entertainment does not have the best track record when it comes to bringing out music on time.

They claimed that Rosé may have been told to make the Instagram live after her posts alluding to mistreatment went viral.

Many, on the other hand, were overjoyed at the news.

They chose to believe that her solo will come soon and she was not forced to talk about it.

BLINKs were already promising to fully support Rosé.
