3 Boy Group Members Go On Hiatus At The Same Time, Sparking Huge Concern
On April 30, C-JeS Studio announced that three members of WHIB — Jayder, Leejeong, and Wonjun — will be going on hiatus starting May 7.
The agency stated that the decision was made “due to personal reasons,” and that the group will continue their activities as five members for the time being.

Due to personal reasons, JAYDER, LEEJEONG, and WONJUN will temporarily not be participating in WHIB’s activities starting from May 7. Moving forward, WHIB will continue their schedule as a 5-member group. We apologize for any concern this sudden news may cause, and we will inform you of their return through a separate announcement at a later time.

The sudden announcement has left fans shocked and concerned, especially since one of the three members, Jayder, is the leader of the eight-membered group.

The wording of the agency’s statement has sparked speculation online, with many also wondering if the trio will ever return.
Others believe the three members may be preparing to appear in an upcoming survival show, though nothing has been confirmed.

Adding to the uncertainty, Jayder himself shared a cryptic message with fans through a fan communication app shortly after the news broke.
I’m sure many of you were surprised by the announcement today. I’m sorry for making you worry. I made this decision after a lot of thought. As WHIB’s leader, I decided to do everything I can. No matter where I am, I’ll continue to work hard with the same heart. I hope you’ll keep trusting and supporting me like you always have. Thank you.
