Following the initial announcement of Heeseung‘s departure from ENHYPEN, fans have grappled with the subsequent feelings.
ENHYPEN’s current line-up have continued activities amid fan protests, which has included protest trucks and more. The demands made of the group’s company have been that Heeseung rejoin ENHYPEN and be allowed to pursue his solo endeavors.
Protest Trucks Sent To HYBE To Bring Back ENHYPEN’s Heeseung Sparks Backlash
On March 15, Be:lift Lab made another announcement regarding Heeseung, confirming that he will not return ENHYPEN, while also mentioning that his solo endeavors did not align with group plans.
Heeseung will not be returning to ENHYPEN. He has a clear artistic direction he wants to pursue, and we decided to respect that. […] ENHYPEN’s schedule remains extremely demanding throughout the year, making it difficult for members to develop independent musical projects while maintaining full group activities.

Following this announcement, it seems that a split in opinion has occurred.
Some have argued that protests are unnecessary, as Heeseung has made his choice, and further protests may harm current ENHYPEN members.
