Recently, BOYNEXTDOOR’s Jaehyun unexpectedly shared a story about meeting fans at a restaurant.

During a live broadcast, Jaehyun revealed that he was able to listen to fans’ honest thoughts about him and his performance.

“I’m the only one who knew. I knew who they were because they were pretty noona’s who took photos of me. They didn’t know I was there, and I could hear them saying, ‘I hope Myung Jae Hyun is having a good time.’ They were saying that I was so cute, and I thought it was so funny that I could hear them. I didn’t say a word the whole time I was eating. They didn’t know it was me because I stayed dead quiet. They finally noticed me after I paid for their meal as I was leaving. They yelled, ‘Thanks for the meal, we love you, Myung Jae Hyun!’

So, anyway, I was able to hear what they thought of me and what they thought of today’s performance. I was able to listen to their raw and honest feedback today.”

Hearing this, fans were scared because they knew if fans were talking freely, they probably were a bit too honest for one’s liking.

If they talked without any filtering, then they probably talked way too comfortably…I am so scared.
