THE BOYZ‘s Sunwoo was rushed to the hospital late in the evening of December 11 due to poor health.
According to an exclusive report from Star News, Sunwoo complained of pain within his neck and shoulder regions on December 11. However, his health condition suddenly deteriorated and he was taken to a local hospital alongside a staff member from his agency, IST Entertainment.
Sunwoo was diagnosed with neuralgia, a sharp pain within a nerve that is due to damage or irritation, and neuritis, a condition caused by inflammation of a nerve. It is expected that Sunwoo will need to take a temporary hiatus of at least one week to recover from his diagnosis. This is the second time he was diagnosed with these two conditions, with IST Entertainment previously stating in November that he had been treated for the two conditions. He wished to continue on with his activities as much as he could.
IST Entertainment has not yet commented on Star News’ report.
