They received the Top Social Artist Award for the second year in a row, coming out on top against nominees such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and Shawn Mendes.

2018 Billboard Music Award was also where BTS revealed their new title song “Fake Love”, for the first time, with a powerful performance that wowed everyone watching them.

# LOVE YOURSELF World Tour for A.R.M.Y

In 2018, BTS performed in 9 countries during their LOVE YOURSELF World Tour, to meet A.R.M.Y from all around the world.

# BTS, the first idol to give a speech at a UN meeting

On the 24th of September, BTS was invited to give a speech at the United Nations General Assembly held in New York, US, as a representative of global youth, to launch Generation Unlimited campaign. This is the first time an idol group has been invited to do so.

BTS took their place on the platform, and standing tall, told their story to the world. They sent a message of dreams and hope to the youth.

No matter who you are, where you are from, your skin color, your gender identity, just speak yourself. Find your name and find your voice by speaking yourself.

Following their inspirational speech at UN, they made appearances on various American talk shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, once again confirming their global recognition and popularity.
