BTS’s Bodyguards Gush Over Jimin’s Beauty (And We Can All Relate)
Together, Jeong Seung Min and Yang Tae Il have worked as bodyguards for a combined 39 years in total. Over the years, they’ve guarded some of the biggest artists in K-Pop, from BTS and SEVENTEEN to TWICE, GFRIEND, WJSN, and MOMOLAND. As such, they’ve been in close contact with numerous gorgeous idols in their time, but one stood to out everyone: BTS’s Jimin.
Considering they see handsome and beautiful stars on a daily basis, you may think celebrity bodyguards are immune to good looks. However, judging by how BTS’s guards feel about Jimin, that’s certainly not the case. In a new interview with AYO on YouTube, one fan brought up the time when Lou Valentino, a bodyguard who toured with BTS in the U.S., gushed over Jimin’s visuals.
Jimin has got to be the prettiest guy I’ve ever seen in my life, not gonna lie. Jimin is the prettiest guy I’ve ever seen in my life.
— Lou Valentino
Naturally, the fan wanted to know if Korean bodyguards feel the same way—and Jeong Seung Min and Yang Tae Il proved that’s definitely the case. “His eyes are art,” admitted Yang, and there’s no way we can argue with that.
He went on to reveal the story of the time he was wowed by Jimin’s looks. Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, BTS held a concert in Seoul, South Korea, and Yang Tae Il was near the waiting room. Even though he frequently gets to “see celebrities’ faces without makeup,” he was still wowed when Jimin came out.
“When I look at Jimin’s face…” Yang started, with Jeong Seung Min finishing his sentence: “Pretty!” Jeong continued that Jimin’s body is just as impressive, as is his “bright skin” and pretty face shape.
But the bodyguards didn’t stop there. Yang Tae Il chimed in again to note that Jimin has “wet eyes letting out sexiness,” going on to call the star, “Mochi-sexy Jimin.”
And honestly? Same.
