BTS Breaks Another Record As The Highest Charting K-Pop Group On Billboard Hot 100

BTS broke another record in K-Pop history with their latest “MIC Drop” featuring Desiigner and Steve Aoki!

The remix track debuted at #28 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, the main chart of the American music industry.

“MIC Drop” has become the highest charting hit from a K-Pop group ever in history.

The song beats out their previous record of ranking #67 with “DNA”.

Suga had once revealed that his lifelong dream is to break into the Top 50 of Billboard Hot 100.

And fans can’t imagine just how happy this moment is for him and his brothers!

BTS now ties with CL as the K-Pop act with the 2nd most Hot 100 listed tracks.

BTS with “DNA” and “MIC Drop”, and CL with “Lifted” (#94, 2016) and her feature on “Daddy” (#97, 2015).

PSY is the leader among all K-Pop acts to break into the Hot 100 charts with 4 songs, including the highest record of #2 with “Gangnam Style”.

BTS is now the 4th K-Pop act to rank on Hot 100 since Wonder Girls paved the way with “Nobody” at #76 in 2009.

BTS’s new record as the highest ranking K-Pop group on Hot 100 follows their other numerous record-breaking achievements.

They’d also become the first-ever K-Pop act to place in the top 10 for Billboard 200, when “Love Yourself: Her” debuted at #7.

Congratulations on another ground-breaking achievement, BTS!
