The talented actor won for his impressive performance in Netflix‘s international hit K-Drama Squid Game, which was nominated for 14 Emmy awards. The hit show won other awards for stunt performance, production design, and special effects. The show’s creator, Hwang Dong Hyuk, also won the award for best drama series director, and actress Lee Yoo Mi won for outstanding guest actress.

Along with the historic wins, BTS was also featured at this year’s award show. Fans were ecstatic to hear the group’s hit song “Butter” played during the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Of course, fans weren’t surprised since “Butter” was also played at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards.

And in April 2022, BTS performed the iconic song, with an upgraded dance break, at the 64th GRAMMY Awards to a standing ovation.

Although the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards featuring “Butter” may not have been unexpected, ARMY are proud of the impact of BTS’s global stardom.

Although some fans pointed out the humor in watching Jin‘s chaotic three-hour live stream before hearing that “Butter” was played at the iconic event.
