BTS’s Possible Route For Their “Chapter 2” Is Sending ARMYs Into Meltdown For Obvious Reasons

“Chapter 2: the most naked moment in life…”

It seems like there isn’t a day that BTS isn’t trending on social media for some reason or another. In particular, after the release of their latest album PROOF, and the group’s 9th anniversary, social media has rightly gone BTS-crazy.

Well, on June 14 (KST), the words “Chapter 2” started trending on social media by ARMYs, and it was all about fans freaking out about the next stage in BTS’s career.

For many, the release of PROOF was the ending of the first chapter of the members’ careers. The track “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” seemed to perfectly encaptured that feeling by bringing in references from some of the group’s hit songs.

Well, it seems like fans have found a theme that might be expected from BTS in the next chapter of their careers, and it’s all to do with a lack of clothing!

On June 14 (KST), HYBE released images teaser images from the upcoming merchandise box for BTS’s official Weverse Fanclub ARMY membership. At first glance, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, and the pictures and the contents of the merchandise seemed normal.

That was until you looked closer at the images of the members… and it seemed like the styling of the members was done intentionally to send them into a frenzy.

In the group shot, the members are dressed in very colorful and expensive-looking clothes, which in itself is enough to make hearts race. Yet, as you go down the line of members, it seems like the number of buttons the members have done up reduces… until Jimin is literally shirtless and only wearing a robe at the end.

The other images were no better as the members continued to drive fans crazy with their visuals and the choice of clothing.

If that wasn’t enough to send ARMYs crazy, a new interview on Weverse with the oldest member Jin cemented that the new chapter of BTS will definitely cause the internet to break.

The interview itself was heartfelt and enough to warm even the coldest person’s heart. Yet, the pictures told a completely different story. Like in the Weverse pictures, Jin was showing a lot of skin on the photos and looked extremely dashing, but who can expect anything less from “Worldwide Handsome.”

Unsurprisingly, the fact that all these images came out on the same day wasn’t missed out on ARMY, and it meant that they went into full meltdown on social media. Many joked about how BTS had not prepared them for this kind of image, while others joked that BTS’s new chapter doesn’t include buttons.

As expected from ARMY, they also had some iconic memes ready for the situation, and it isn’t surprising that most of them are shook because nobody could’ve expected it.

Yet, it shouldn’t come as a total surprise. When the album was first released, BTS appeared on the Melon Station BigHit Music Record.

Although there was no context in the clip, J-Hope randomly asked, “Shouldn’t one of Jungkook’s buttons pop out?” The idol was referring to the fact that during their recent tours. Jungkook was so immersed in the song “Fake Love” that his buttons couldn’t keep and eventually started to unbutton…

Well, if that wasn’t a nice trip down memory lane, Jungkook’s reply to J-Hope’s question shocked fans because he went one step further. RM then heightened the excitement because, after Jungkook, even he thought maybe the next show might need fewer clothes. The leader joked, “Soon, I will perform wearing only my shorts…”

RM’s always been praised for his physique

If this is the route that BTS’s next chapter will take, ARMYs might not survive the entire course. The members can do damage with their visuals alone, but showcasing their physiques will definitely cause a meltdown, and ARMYs are both scared and excited for what could happen next.
