BTS Makes Forbes’s “Celebrity 100” List Of Highest-Paid Entertainers

They are the only Korean artist on the list.

BTS, the “humble kings” of K-Pop, have made their debut on Forbes’s Celebrity 100 list!

On July 10, Forbes released their 2019 list of the world’s highest-paid entertainers. Considering that BTS has sold out stadium all over the globe, it’s not surprising that they made the cut!

A large portion of BTS’s total earnings for 2019 have come from the Love Yourself world tour and its ongoing-sequel, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself. Their first six Love Yourself: Speak Yourself stadium shows grossed $44 million and sold just under 300,000 tickets. That averages to $7,000,000+ per night.

BTS have also sold hundreds of thousands of copies of their 2019 album Map of the Soul: Persona, merchandise, and much more!

BTS came in at No. 43 on Forbes’s Celebrity 100 list with $57 million in pretax income over the last year. This makes them the highest-paid act in K-Pop and the only Korean artist to feature on Forbes’s list! Taylor SwiftKylie JennerKanye WestLionel Messi, and Ed Sheeran took No.1 to No.5, respectively.
