BTS’s J-Hope Is The First Korean Soloist To Reach This Milestone
BTS‘s J-Hope has added another impressive achievement to his name!
In March 2018, J-Hope made his solo debut in with his first mixtape, Hope World. The album debuted at No. 63 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 38. At the time, Hope World made J-Hope the highest-charting solo Korean artist on the chart. Over the past year, J-Hope solo work has received many accolades and broken records.
Back in April, J-Hope dethroned BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon as Spotify’s #1 most-followed Korean solo artist. At the time, he had 1,341,112 followers (one more follower than G-Dragon had).
Now, J-Hope is the first Korean solo artist to reach 2 million followers on the platform. Even more impressive is the fact that J-Hope reached this milestone with only seven songs, all from Hope World!
