In a video, posted on TikTok, he dines with friends while the original version of “Savage Love” (that does not feature BTS) plays in the background. Jason Derulo tagged several of his friends in the video, but not his co-creators.

In response, ARMY accused the singer of snubbing BTS, taking credit for BTS’s success, and using the group “for clout“.

Jason Derulo has since tagged BTS and Jawsh 685 in a repost of his video on Twitter. The comment section is filled with replies from unhappy ARMYs, who say that he should be thanking them and BTS for making “Savage Love” No.1.

In light of this controversy, ARMYs are taking time to praise BTS’s past collaborators, like HalseyMAX, and Steve Aoki, who have set good examples for future collaborators. According to fans, these artists gave BTS proper credit, appreciated their artistry, and treated the group with respect.
