Becky G Spills On Her Friendship With BTS’s J-Hope

She also shared how meaningful “Chicken Noodle Soup” was.

BTS‘s J-Hope and Becky G collaborated on the record-breaking homage to Bianca Bonnie‘s “Chicken Noodle Soup” in 2019, and the dynamic duo has since shown off their supportive friendship.

When both BTS and Becky G were at the 2021 AMAs, Becky G talked about excitedly getting to see BTS, her friends, again.

Becky G: BTS is here! The homies, I love them. We literally got here at the same time so we were catching up ’cause I hadn’t seen them in so long.

Interviewer: What did you guys talk about?

Becky G: I mean, the fact that it’s been so long, literally! And they have a show in LA coming up, so I’m trying to see if I can, you know, make a little… situation happen! But yeah, no, I’m so happy.

Becky G and J-Hope even had an adorable interaction caught on camera, proving their cute friendship.

Becky G has also never held back from praising the group and cheering them on.

Recently, Becky G and J-Hope reunited at Lollapalooza, where they gave an incredible performance of “Chicken Noodle Soup.”

And ultimately, not only is she grateful for their collaboration, but she’s grateful that they’re able to keep up a genuine friendship despite having a language barrier.

I’m so happy that it happened the way it did. To this day, it’s one of those, ‘I see you, you see me, and even though we may not necessarily have the deepest conversations, we get it‘ [relationships].
