BTS’s Jimin Secretly Donated 100 Million Won To Help Polio Patients And Proved He’s A Humble, Generous King
BTS‘s Jimin was recently revealed to have donated ₩100 million KRW (about $84,200 USD) to help polio patients, and his quiet good deed proves just how humble and generous he really is.
According to Rotary International, a non-profit charity group with over 1 million members across the globe, Jimin donated a hundred million won to the Gosung Rotary Club in July. Gosung is located in the South Gyeongsang Province of Korea, which is adjacent to Jimin’s hometown, Busan.
Like many of Jimin’s previous donations, his donation to the Gosung Rotary Club was done in secret.
According to a report from Newsen, Jimin “went forward with his donation through his father without telling anyone.” His donation will go toward the Gosung Rotary Club’s vaccine fundraising campaign to permanently eradicate polio. Jimin’s donation only became known to the public when a fan discovered a banner hung by the Gosung Rotary Club to thank Jimin for his generous donation.
Jimin’s donation to help polio patients is especially meaningful as it was made right before World Polio Day, which is on October 24.
After news of Jimin’s donation was released, ARMY took to Twitter to applaud him for his generosity and humility.
jimin secretly donating to polio eradication without letting anyone know about it before polio day is very precious because to make such donations in secret, someone should have a heart of gold. he's rich and successful with a heart of an angel i sometimes can't believe he's real

Jimin is such a kind hearted soul. He has a golden heart just like his father who made a heartwarming donation in the pandemic for children. This time our angel has donated 100 million to help polio patients. Truly an angel. I'm so proud of him
