BTS's Jin Is So Loved That Even His Military Sunbaes Can't Help Admiring Him

BTS Jin‘s future superiors in the Army have shared their reactions to his enlistment.

On December 6, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that BTS‘s Jin would soon enlist in the army to fulfill his mandatory military duty. The company released the statement in multiple languages via Weverse.

Hello,
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We want to thank you for your continued support of BTS and would like to update you on Jin’s upcoming enlistment into the military.

Jin will fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that we will not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment.

The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts.

We also advise you not to get adversely affected by purchasing unauthorized tours or product packages illegally using artist IP. Our company will take necessary action against any attempts at commercial activity making unauthorized use of such IP.

We ask for your continued love and support for Jin until he finishes his military service and comes back. Our company will also strive to provide every support he needs during this time.

Previously, Jin confirmed that he would be enlisting on December 13. He and the company have both requested that fans not visit the site.

A few lucky ARMYs will literally be in the Army too. That means they will have enlisted alongside one of their favorite idols.

KOREA NOW released video interviews with other young Korean men who will have enlisted shortly before Jin. They all expressed pride in being his military sunbaes.

While they might be his superior, all that will be thrown out the window because their love for him comes first and foremost! The men confessed to being fans, and one, in particular, was unabashedly ARMY. So, they are all hoping to not only speak with Jin at some point but get this autograph and/or a photo with him.

They want to uplift and praise Jin when he comes so, whether that’s in the form of compliments or respectfully bowing.

A couple of interviewed men also plan to befriend Jin if given the opportunity. One hopes that the two can exchange life experiences, and another hopes they can stay friends even after their military service has concluded. He wants to play MapleStory with Jin.

Those who are fans of Jin know that he is a big fan of the game MapleStory. Previously, he expressed that it’s a way for him to connect with others despite his introversion.

I don’t have many friends, it’s not an environment where I can make friends. These days, it’s called MBTI. E is extroverted and I is introverted. I have a very high rate of I. Actually, I didn’t go out very often. But players in the game have fun with me and communicate a lot. I felt like I had a lot of friends.

Based on the interviews with Jin’s sunbaes, it sounds like little to no hierarchy will exist because they will all be too excited to see Jin. This wouldn’t be the first or last time Jin dismantled hierarchy. Read more below.
